Leading with moral courage.
Leading with moral courage.
For more than 30 years, the Beitler Family Annual Holocaust Memorial Museum Visit has been one of the Resnick Center’s signature programs, offering cadets a powerful learning experience at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
Through self guided tours, facilitated debriefs, and seminar discussions, the trip deepens cadets’ understanding of the Holocaust and the U.S. Army’s role in ending it.

The Beitler Trip challenges cadets to confront the history of antisemitism and genocide, develop the skills to counter hateful and divisive ideologies, and reflect on the ethical responsibilities of military leadership. By engaging directly with the lessons of the past, cadets explore how leaders shape organizational culture and why moral courage and sound decision making are essential to preventing future atrocities.
