Our Mission
The mission of the Resnick Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies is to instill within current and future military leaders a sophisticated understanding of the Holocaust and other instances of genocide, and to inspire them to prevent future atrocities in their roles as military leaders.
Educate
The Resnick Center’s courses immerse cadets in rigorous, multidisciplinary study of the Holocaust and other genocides. Through an integrated curriculum and experiential learning, cadets gain the knowledge to understand how atrocities emerge and to recognize the early warning signs.
Develop
The Center’s programs connect historical understanding to the challenges of military leadership today. Through applied learning, research, and mentorship, cadets strengthen their moral judgement and deepen their commitment to ethical leadership.
Inspire
Resnick Center initiatives prepare cadets to translate knowledge into action as future Army leaders. By drawing inspiration from leaders who chose the harder right over the easier wrong, cadets are motivated to lead with courage and integrity.
