By supporting research, early warning tools, and hands-on learning, the Center helps cadets and faculty understand the causes and warning signs of large-scale violence and develop practical strategies to address it.

Center staff, cadets, and interns have contributed updates to country studies, collaborative Mass Atrocity Prevention Practica, and independent research focused on understanding, anticipating, and mitigating atrocity risks worldwide.
Through museum visits, survivor testimony, expert lectures, and immersive learning experiences, cadets gain a deeper understanding of the human consequences of mass atrocities — and the critical importance of prevention.
